Description
Triplebath™ features three independently controlled unstirred water baths in one unit.

Typically suitable for classroom use performing PCR routines in shallow temperature controlled water, each tank can be set to a different temperature for denaturing, annealing and elongation - reducing solvent and consumables.

Featuring three 2 litre stainless steel tanks with individual thermostatic controls, allowing each chamber to have a different temperature and shallow water levels.

Each chamber comes complete with a removable Clifton "low" height stainless steel perforated shelf.

Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers the underside base of the tank, providing rapid energy transfer, quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity.

Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance.
Controls
Easy to use analogue dial pointer for setting temperature, graduated in 5°C divisions for each tank.

Illuminated on/off switch and heater indication lamp for each tank.

We verify the performance of every bath calibrating its controls and water temperature at 45°C for consistent temperature control in use.
Safety Features
Thermal cut out fitted in the heater. IP rated clear booted on/off power switch. Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet.

Heating/Cooling Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres. Covering the bath with a lid also reduces energy consumption and running costs for your Clifton water bath.

The rapid heat up times are based on minimum water level 10mm above shelf/platform.

Notes
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) changed biology.

It allows very small samples of DNA to be analysed and then making billions of copies. PCR is routinely used in forensic investigations, infectious disease testing and screening for genetic disease.

PCR is a system of copying/amplifying a sequence of DNA using DNA polymerase from heat stable bacteria. The target sequence is located in the genome using primers.

These primers are short pieces of DNA that are complementary to the ends of the target sequence. The DNA, primers and bacterial DNA polymerase are mixed, cycled through three temperatures which causes the DNA to be amplified.

Features and Benefits
1. TripleBath features three independently controlled shallow water baths suitable for heating samples in micro centrifuge tubes and for other molecular-biology applications.
2. Small samples easily seen and not obscured by conventional high sided water baths.

3. Low profile design allows easier access to samples in bath.

4. Full use can be made of the bath to provide maximum working area.

5. Three-year warranty and comprehensive customer support.

6. Before leaving our factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book.

7. Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments. The Clifton range features easy to clean surfaces and finishes that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfections. The efficacy of the finish is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.

Lift Off Gable Lid to suit 2 and 4 litre Unstirred Baths

Clifton® clear polycarbonate Gable Lids helps reduce evaporation, assists in keeping samples in a water bath free from contamination and saves energy. These clear plastic gable lids with a high profile allows extended use of the bath, right into the edges of the tank. No drip points to contaminate samples whilst the lid design ensures all condensate returns back into the bath. Insulated handles for safe use

Stainless Steel Gable Lid to fit 2 and 4 Litre Unstirred Baths

Clifton® Stainless steel Gable Lids helps reduce evaporation, assists in keeping samples in a water bath free from contamination and saves energy. These stainless steel gable lids with a high profile allows extended use of the bath, right into the edges of the tank. No drip points to contaminate samples whilst the lid design ensures all condensate returns back into the bath. Insulated handles for safe use

Flat One Piece Stainless Steel Lid for 2 and 4 Litre Baths

Stainless steel flat lid minimizing heat loss, saving energy, and assisting to maintain bath temperature. Also when a Clifton water bath is 'not in use', with this lid fitted it prevents contamination of liquid from airbourne particles acts as a dust cover. The lid is fitted with an insulated handle.

Polypropylene Spheres

This blanket of hollow spheres is ideal for open tanks of water. Reduces thermal losses - Savings of up to 75% can be achieved with a single layer - Increase energy saving & reducing costs. A single layer of spheres covers 91% of the liquid surface trapping air in the gaps which adds to the thermal insulation properties. Reduces steaming - vapour losses reduced by 90%. Reduce vapours & splashing. No impedance to workload.

Stainless Steel Test Tube Rack 26 Holes x 17mm Diameter
