Every water bath undergoes a factory calibration at two reference temperatures validating each bath for total confidence in use.
Each bath comes complete with a removable Clifton "low" height stainless steel perforated shelf.
Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish, hygienic coating which actively inhibits bacterial growth, with good chemical resistance.
Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers the underside base of the tank, providing rapid energy transfer, quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity.
Featuring side lifting handles for ease of transportation.
Easy to use splash proof controls, touch keypads for setting temperature values with indicators for heating and over temperature alarm.
Features auto setting over temperature alarm protecting samples at set temperature.
Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
The over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if bath is over temperature heating is switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown, control resumes.

Covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs.
This range of baths are not designed for boiling, the NE1B boiling bath range is recommended.

2. The shelf in the stainless steel tank provides a stable support for flasks/bottles/racks that can be removed for cleaning. The shelf is a low height design maximizing the working height in the bath, either needing less water when compared with traditional water baths or allowing tall containers or vessels to be immersed to a greater working depth. With lower water levels comes the benefit reduced heat up times and energy saving.

5. Before leaving our factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book.
6. Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments. The Clifton range features easy to clean surfaces and finishes that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfections. The efficacy of the finish is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
Stainless Steel Gable Lid to suit 56 Litre Unstirred Baths
1. The Gable lid has been designed allowing full use of whole width of a Clifton water bath with the lowest height of the gable being 45mm above the bath. This unique feature means test tube racks or flasks can be placed across the whole width of the bath without fouling the lid maximising the bath working area.

56 Litre Stainless Steel Flat Two Piece Lid with Insulated Handles
Two part stainless steel flat lids minimizing heat loss, saving energy, and assisting to maintain bath temperature. Also when a Clifton water bath is 'not in use', with this lid fitted it prevents contamination of liquid from airbourne particles acts as a dust cover. The lid is fitted with an insulated handle.
