Description
This DeepChamberBath™ is suitable for Gerber testing or where deeper water volumes are required.

The stainless steel deep tank contained within a sturdy outer case and supplied complete with a stainless steel shelf all providing good water circulation and temperature stability.

The Thermostirrer is robust constructed from stainless steel for durability. Painted surfaces feature a tough anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. Easy to use controls that wipe clean and have an anti-bacterial finish. Immersed components are corrosion resistant. Quiet running in use and providing excellent water temperature stability in the bath. Indication of heating, over temperature alarm and timer running.

When a low liquid level is detected a “FiLL” message automatically appears and heating is suspended. Once refilled, heating is restored and temperature control resumes automatically. Over and under temperature alarms automatically protect work in the water bath, providing heater cut off, visual message and indicator.

Integral hinged lid fitted as standard.

Drain tap fitted as standard for ease of emptying.
Controls
Featuring bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of ±0.1°C, using precision PID temperature control. Setting for water temperature only or combination of temperature and time. Timer setting variable in 1-minute increments from 00:01 [hh:mm] to 99:59 [hh:mm] with “end” message on completion-timed period. Settings retained even after turning the unit off.

Easy to use splash proof controls, touch keypads for setting time and temperature values with indicators for heating, over temperature alarm and timer. Bold digital LED display.

The water bath can be set to run at a set temperature or commence the timer once the water reaches set temperature.

Features auto setting over and under temperature alarm protecting your work at set temperature.

Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
Safety Features
Features a low liquid level float switch, which ensures heating, is switched off if the liquid falls below the recommended level - display will show “FiLL”. Heating is switched off but stirring continues. To reset carefully top up the liquid to the recommended level.

The under/over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above and 4˚C below set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if bath is over temperature both heating and stirring are switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown.

Features and Benefits
Ideal for applications where deeper water volume is required such as Gerber milk testing.

Powder painted body providing a durable finish and protection against corrosion and now featuring “active anti-bacterial technology”. This paint finish actively inhibits bacterial growth improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments. The Clifton range features easy to wipe clean, smooth paint finishes, that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfections, however this improved coating featuring ‘active anti-bacterial’ properties provides an extra layer of defence. The anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus, resistant strain. Within its formulation an active ingredient is a proven anti-bacterial agent bound into the coating during application and curing to the product. The efficacy of the paint finish applied to the Clifton range is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.

Heating/Cooling Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with polypropylene spheres - see accessories.

Covering the bath with polypropylene spheres reduces energy consumption and running costs.

This bath will operate at 100°C however are not designed for continuous boiling, the NE1B Boiling Bath range is recommended.

Polypropylene Spheres

This blanket of hollow spheres is ideal for open tanks of water. Reduces thermal losses - Savings of up to 75% can be achieved with a single layer - Increase energy saving & reducing costs. A single layer of spheres covers 91% of the liquid surface trapping air in the gaps which adds to the thermal insulation properties. Reduces steaming - vapour losses reduced by 90%. Reduce vapours & splashing. No impedance to workload.
