Description
Personal, small footprint water bath, providing stable temperature environment for life science preparations. Featuring digital PID temperature control for precise working temperatures.

Each bath comes complete with a removable Clifton "low" height stainless steel perforated shelf.

Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean.

Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance.

For molecular-biology procedures these baths can be used for dry incubation using Lab Armor - see accessories. Its unique dry media supports tubes, micro tubes, vials of various shapes and sizes without blocks, racks or floats or weights. This method of no water heating produces no water borne contamination normally associated with water baths. Also no more emptying, cleaning and refilling with water resulting in a more productive lab.

Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
Safety Features
Thermal cut out fitted in the heater. IP rated clear booted on/off mains switch. Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet.

The under/over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above and 4˚C below set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if bath is over temperature heating is switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown.

Heating/Cooling Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a Lid or layer of polypropylene spheres. Covering the bath with a lid also reduces energy consumption and running costs for your Clifton water bath.

The rapid heat up times are based on recommended minimum water level 10mm above shelf/platform.

This shallow form Clifton water bath is perfect for heating small height samples such as micro tubes, micro plates and bottles perfect for Life Science and other molecular-biology routines.

Comprising of a 304 spec (18/8) stainless steel tank housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Complete with a removable stainless steel perforated shelf. Controls feature an illuminated on/off switch and "heater on" indicator. For temperatures above 60°C a lid is recommended.

21. Each bath is uniquely identified with its own serial number recorded on our product database, which includes all of its manufacturing inspection data. Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book. To verify the performance of the temperature control system it is checked by calibrating the water temperature and controller at 45°C to ensure it meets the quoted specification.

This new anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus, resistant strain. Within its formulation an active ingredient is a proven anti-bacterial agent bound into the coating during application and curing to the product. The efficacy of the paint finish applied to the Clifton range is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.

Microtitre plate clip for deep or shallow well microplates

This Micro-titre clip is designed to accommodate deep or shallow well micro-plates.

Supplied with all necessary fixings to enable the clip to be attached to the Perforated tray SBF01804 (NE5-28D and NE5-28) or SA01773 (NE5-10D). Micro titre plates easily slide into the clip and yet remain secure during shaking/mixing. Clip and or Tray can be autoclaved.

Description
Shallow water bath, providing stable temperature environment for life science preparations. Featuring digital PID temperature control for precise working temperatures.

Each bath comes complete with a removable Clifton "low" height stainless steel perforated shelf.

Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean.

Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance.

For molecular-biology procedures these baths can be used for dry incubation using Lab Armor - see accessories. Its unique dry media supports tubes, micro tubes, vials of various shapes and sizes without blocks, racks or floats or weights. This method of no water heating produces no water borne contamination normally associated with water baths. Also no more emptying, cleaning and refilling with water resulting in a more productive lab.

Heating/Cooling Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a Lid or layer of polypropylene spheres. Covering the bath with a lid also reduces energy consumption and running costs for your Clifton water bath.

The rapid heat up times are based on recommended minimum water level 10mm above shelf/platform.

Thermal cut out fitted in the heater. IP rated clear booted on/off mains switch. Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet.

The under/over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above and 4˚C below set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if bath is over temperature heating is switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown.

Microtitre plate clip for deep or shallow well microplates

This Micro-titre clip is designed to accommodate deep or shallow well micro-plates.

Supplied with all necessary fixings to enable the clip to be attached to the Perforated tray SBF01804 (NE5-28D and NE5-28) or SA01773 (NE5-10D). Micro titre plates easily slide into the clip and yet remain secure during shaking/mixing. Clip and or Tray can be autoclaved.

Stainless steel flat lid minimizing heat loss, saving energy, and assisting to maintain bath temperature.
